My first time playing the game I think I had made it to the point of getting the 7th party member before I even realized characters had multiple skill trees, or had any real clue what in the hell affinity coins were for (or that skill links existed), and had probably never crafted a single gem either. I still absolutely loved the game though, but it definitely does throw a whole lot of different systems your way that aren't entirely intuitive (and the clunky menu/UI design of the original absolutely does nothing to help that problem, but luckily at least that aspect has been largely remedied in the Definitive Edition)

 I'm sitting there waiting in the back of my truck when one of my friends pull up.
