I thought it was the right decision to keep us together and to get through college. Before I was sent to boot camp we came back to Miami to have a Wedding Reception with family and friends. Then I was shipped out soon after, and upon arriving in bootcamp and the yelling of company officers. My body had an extreme reaction, even if my mind was rational and understanding that it was within expectations my body couldn’t handle the environment.

 I'm sitting there waiting in the back of my truck when one of my friends pull up. I kid you not, I was so happy to have extra time off, I did a stupid little dance in the back of my truck, sort of like a victory dance. God, that stupid dance.
