I wasn't married, but actually engaged six months. I had asked her to marry me about the beginning of my senior year. She said yes, and I resolved to start saving up as much as possible for when we got married. I had an after school job, so I worked as hard as I could, hanging with her in any of the time I was off. Well, one day my boss lets me off early, and since I didn't know where she was (this was before cell phones were easily available), I decided to go to where my friends usually hung out.

 I'm sitting there waiting in the back of my truck when one of my friends pull up.
