 Combat Evolved. My family at the time were among those new comers, and so within a week of Halo 2's release my family instituted a bi-weekly lan party. Everyone from my Grandpa and Uncles to their wives and kids came over to our house with an old fatback TV and their brand new Xbox with a copy of Halo 2 and two to four controllers. We'd all set up in the living room while those less interested in playing, the wives mostly, would set about preparing chips and dip and passing out drinks while the men and children all sat together and competed in Capture The Flag.

 I'm sitting there waiting in the back of my truck when one of my friends pull up.
